[UPDATED: 22.06.2011 @19:15 GMT] With our new partner, GT Group of São Paulo, we have reactivated the Online Number feature and have started assigning new numbers. If you have not received a new number, you will receive it soon.

[UPDATED:09.05.2011@19:30 GMT] Today Skype reached an agreement with GT Group (based in São Paulo) to help us reinstate service to existing Online Number subscribers via this new partner. We're very sorry for the disruption to our users' conversations, and we're working with GT Group and local authorities to get things back to normal as soon as possible. It has just come to our attention that online numbers in Brazil have been turned off today by Transit. As we communicated to our users earlier this week, we had received notification from Transit that they wished to terminate their relationship with Skype. We are looking into the situation with due urgency, and exploring options for our users impacted by Transit's action. As we mentioned in our communications earlier this week, service refunds for numbers and inquiries regarding the service and number portability can be requested directly to Transit Telecom Customer Service at contato@transitbrasil.com.br or at their support number, 103 17 or (11) 3511-0200. We'll update the post as soon as we have further details.

Some of you may be experiencing problems with SMS and Call Forwarding. We are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it. We apologize for any inconvenience.

On June 16, 2011 - Skype has discontinued the sales of *new* online numbers in Italy temporarily due to administrative difficulties. Existing customers who use this product will not be impacted. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Earlier this week, we posted about Skype sign-in problems.

We wanted to let you know that the sign-in problems have been resolved and Skype has
returned to normal.

However, if you are still having issues re-connecting, it's advised that you manually quit Skype and restart Skype to sign-in again.

Some of you may experience problems calling to Online Numbers in France. When calling to an Online Number, you may receive a busy tone and the call may fail to go through. We are working closely with our French based telecom partner, which provides Online Number service, to address the issues causing this interruption. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Today's problems have stabilised, and recovery is ongoing. Skype should return to normal soon.

If you were disconnected from Skype earlier, you shouldn't need to manually sign back in to Skype - it should reconnect automatically when it's able to do so.

A configuration problem has meant that some of you have been disconnected from Skype.

We've identified the cause of the problem, and have begun to address it. If you've been affected, you should start to see improvement in the next hour or so. You shouldn't need to manually sign back in to Skype - it should reconnect automatically when it's able to do so.
