Some of you may have problems sending text messages (SMS) with Skype at the moment. If a message fails, you'll see a notification in Skype, and you won't be charged for the message. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
Some of you may have problems signing in to Skype. We apologise for the disruption, and are investigating the cause. We hope to have more details to share soon.
Update: Signing into Skype apps should now work normally for most people - signing into our website may still not work as expected.
Boleto Bancario payments in Brazil have been temporarily suspended. Skype is working closely with our local partner to address the issues causing this service interruption. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. You can continue to make payments using international credit cards and PayPal.
On the 10th January 2011, we will change the way we charge for calls to Armenia.
The new prices will be as follows:
Landlines:
- Armenia: €0.090 per minute (€0.104 per minute including VAT where applicable)
- Armenia – Erevan: €0.105 per minute (€0.121 per minute including VAT where applicable)
- Armenia – Nagorni Karabakh: €0.300 (€0.345 per minute including VAT where applicable)
You may have problems buying Skype Credit or subscriptions with a MasterCard, due to problems on the MasterCard side. We apologise for the inconvenience – please use an alternative payment method in the meantime.
