We are aware that some customers may encounter difficulties when trying to extend a German SkypeIn number (i.e. a SkypeIn number with the access code +49).

Our SkypeIn team is working hard to resolve this problem.

We are aware that many PayPal Send Money transactions via Skype are failing for the receiving party. If you experience a timeout message when logging in to receive money you should retry at a later time. Money can be received within 30 days of it being sent.

If the money is not successfully received within 30 days, it will be automatically returned to the sender’s account. A sender can also cancel the transaction at any time.

We are working hard to restore normal functionality as soon as possible.

We have been informed that Paypal is experiencing a maintainance window until 10:00 GMT. Maintainance itself started approximately at 20th of July 06:38 GMT. During that time, Paypal payments will be delivered with delay..

We will also update you once the issue has been resolved.

We have received reports of recent phishing activity. These emails purport to come from Skype with a subject line like “Account blocked” or “Account locked”. The body of the email asks you to follow a link to “re-activate” your account by entering your user name and password at a fake web page.

Please do not respond to these types of emails. Skype or its staff will never ask you for your password via email or to confirm you account information via email. The only places you are asked for your password are when you log into the Skype application or log onto our website at https://secure.skype.com.

We have been informed by our partner that due to maintainance done on our payment partner side, Auto-Recharge payments are currently failing. Due to this problem, Auto-Recharge agreements will be cancelled. We shall inform once the issue has been resolved. Since 13.07.2007 10:26 GMT all Brazilian payments and Recurring payments are not working and will be cancelled. Problem is is being dealt with. Update will be posted as soon as the problem is solved.

We have been informed that Paypal is experiencing a maintainance window until 08:08 GMT. Maintainance itself started approximately at 07:30 GMT. During that time, it is impossible to deliver any Paypal payments.

[Update: 2007-07-12 10:09:44] The update has been completed successfully. SkypeFind is up and running.

One of our payments partner was unable to process Credit Card payments today 11th of July from 13:15 to 13:30 GMT. The issue is now resolved and payments are working normally again.

Our partner has informed us that during given timeframe ClickandBuy is doing maintenance and thus in following regions making payments may fail. Affected regions are: Europe (except Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland)

Our Skypecast engineering team are currently testing solutions to the Skypecast problems we have recently encountered. We hope to bring you further news in the coming 24 hours.

We are happy to inform you that the problems with Skypecasts have been fixed.

1. The participant count issue is fixed.
2. Skype for Mac users can now create Skypecasts.

Some credit card orders may be deliverd with a short delay. Issue is temporary and is beeing dealt with.
