There is a known problem with voicemails received from SkypeIn. The voicemails may be delivered with a considerable delay. To force immediate delivery, you need to use the “Sign out” function of Skype client, and then sign back in manually with your Skype Name and password.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes and are working on a system update to fix this.

UPDATE Dec 11: work is ongoing to fix this and we’re rolling out the fixes to our systems. We will post new info before the end of the year.

Throughout Oct 24, forwarding of SkypeIn calls to another Skype Name or SkypeOut number may not have worked. We have now resolved this.

Sometimes the Skype client has problems retrieving the balance info for as long as a day or two, the correct amount of credits should be displayed in the Events tab shortly. You should be always able to view your balance on the “My Account” page on our website, this is the authoritative source for finding out your account balance. If your balance has updated in the My Account section try placing a call, it should go through and then the balance will then update correctly.

If you still cannot see your balance, please go to ‘Skype —> File —> “Sign Out” and log back in with your Skype name and password again. This should also refresh you balance.
