We are experiencing a major outage at the moment. Sign-in to all systems is affected, as well as using the central services such as SkypeIn, SkypeOut, SMS and Skype Voicemail.

UPDATE: fixed.

We keep receiving reports that some Skypers have contacts disappearing from their contact list. We have not yet fully identified the circumstances this happens under, but we now have means to debug it as well as to retrieve them if they disappeared. If you are experiencing “lost contacts” and want to help us fix it and get them back, please contact our Customer Support.

Since late Thursday, Sept 7, Skypecasts are unavailable. You can browse the directory but you cannot join the Skypecasts or create new ones. We are looking into it.

UPDATE: now back to normal.
