[UPDATE Apr 25, 2013 13:50 GMT]: We are still monitoring the situation but the majority of users should now be able to sign into Skype with their Microsoft Account.

Some of you may experience problems calling to Skype Numbers in Hong Kong. When calling to a Skype Number the call may fail to go through. We are working to address the issues causing this interruption. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

SMS messages sent from Skype to U.S phone numbers will be unavailable for a few hours on March 5th 2013 at 2AM Eastern time (GMT -5). This is due to planned maintenance and we will post an update once we restore availability, which is estimated at 7AM Eastern time. Sorry for any inconvenience.
