Did you know that you can check up on the status of your Skype purchases online? And I’m not talking about the goodies you get from our Shop (though they’re nice too, especially this headset) – I’m talking about subscriptions, Skype Credit, and all the other bits and pieces which keep your conversations going.

Unfortunately, our robots are a bit slow today. Whether it’s the effects of a big weekend, or just a bout of the Monday morning blues, things aren’t ticking along as nicely as they should be. You may notice that rather than zipping along to ‘delivered’, your purchases are waiting at the ‘payment confirmed’ status in your purchase history.
We’re working as hard as we can to breathe some life back into our systems, but for now, you can expect a little bit of a delay before you can use your newly-bought subscription or credit. I’m sorry about this – I know how important it is for you to get your hands on things as soon as possible (I’m just as impatient) – and I’ll update this post as soon as I hear more news.
On the 13th December, we will increase the price of calls to mobiles in Algeria to €0.254 per minute (€0.292 per minute including VAT where appropriate) and the price of calls to landlines in Congo to €0.287 per minute (€0.330 per minute including VAT where appropriate).
As of the 6th of November the bank transfer payment option will no longer be available in Argentina. Please see our ways to pay page for other available payment options.
Between 0800 UTC and 0930 UTC on the 3rd November, we'll be carrying out some maintenance work on our credit card processing systems.
During this time, you may not be able to use credit cards to pay for Skype Credit, subscriptions or online numbers.
Alternative payment methods will be available as normal. Sorry for the inconvenience!
